My son went through a stage of that round the same age, would be crying and screaming but not really awake and we had to wake him up and resettle sometimes. There's not a huge amount you can do about it I don't think but apparently them being overtired or stressed/changes happening can cause it. Certainly happens when DS hasn't slept properly ]]>
