I used discovery and got a pos result straight away but i had two embys on board and both implanted which would be why I got a pos straight away.
I had another day 3 transfer last month and tested the day before bloodtest and got a bfn (used discovery again) my bloods came back negative.
I am having another day3 transfer tomorrow and will probably home test again the day before my bloodtest, I find this helps me prepare for the outcome from the clinic. Good luck and remember to try to treat yourself during your long anxious wait, hope you get a BFP!!

    Author: MrsMW
Subject: 41894
Posted: 16 April 2012 at 9:15am

Hi there, i know that this wait is even more excrutiating than the 2WW when trying to conceive naturally. You can't just go and have sex to try again! And it gets harder as the test day approaches. But please don't go doing home pregnancy tests, you'll put yourself on an emotional roller coaster that's far worse than what you go through just waiting. And try not to analyze every little twinge you feel in your body. Focus yourself on doing what's right - eat healthily, don't drink, avoid stressful situations and if you are so inclined, I recommend seeing an acupuncturist with fertility experience. I did that and had a successful pregnancy on my first IVF round. While I don't know if I can put the success down to the acupuncture, I can't discount it and would do it again. Good luck!
