I asked my midwife after i had my c/s and she said to wait 6mths, we waited 5mths. I found out I was pregnant 7 months after I had DS, I had a CS but even though getting UTD again so soon was planned, it really didn't cross my mind. My MW or anyone else never said to wait any length of time so I just didn't think about it. I was waiting for a bit of a stern talking to from my new MW or the OB but it never happened

ETA - I had a VBAC and had a fabulous birth experience compared to my first which was absolutely awful.

I was told 6 to 18 months before they discharged me from the hospital. how long do i have to wait to get pregnant again after a c-section.????
DS is 7months and i have missed a period.
everyone says something different from 6months to 2years.
