Hi there, with my current pregnancy I had a day and a bit of brown spotting before AF was due which is unusual for me, so I tested a couple of days early and my test was positive. Midwife said it was some implantation spotting.

hiya,my husband and i have been trying for nearly 5 months. It took me 8 weeks to get my first period after coming off Levlen, 4 weeks to get my second one, and 5 weeks to get my third. I was due on the 1st of this month and since the 3rd i've had period like cramping but no bleeding. The first day i had a little bit of a brown, clotty type spotting but it only lasted the one day. I'm sick of buying tests because they always are negative and they are so expensive! I've also had a bit of an upset stomach and its been making me feel a bit nauseaus.

Am i reading into this too much? If i get a test will it even work since there is technically still time to get my period based on the 5 week cycle? Also, we've been having unprotected sex at least every 3 days for the last 5 months. I've never had period pain before i was due, its always started on day one of my period.
