It is where he penis is sitting on his testicles and getting all nice and warm and moist.... make sure you apply the sudocream at every nappy change and clean it well and it will clear up quickly. I remember when ds #1 was a newborn, it didn't even occur to me to clean/dry under there for the first few weeks! I ended up discovering that it was getting quite red and sore, so maybe just make sure that you dry that area after bathing, as that may be why it has gone red in the first place? As soon as I started including that area in the drying process (among the other difficult areas such as neck, armpits, behind the knees etc...) the redness went away really quickly.

Mine had a little rash under his penis and nowhere else on his bottom or bits, I took him in for something else and dr looked at it and gave him some antifungal or antibacterial salve. If it doesn't go away in a couple of days get something

No worries...my boy is very rashy in general (if he has a big cry he gets a rash!) So nappy rash is almost a constant battle here.

Thanks for that! I will just keep up with the cream and hopefully it will go away soon, already looking better after a few applications of cream.

It's most likely nappy rash.
DS only usually last a day or so, but I have to put bepanthan on at every nappy. If I miss one, it goes back to where it started.
So just be religious about cream/baby powder until it's gone.

I was changing my baby before and discovered that he has a red patch where his penis sits on his balls and a little on the underside of his penis..it is quite red. There is no redness anywhere else, does anyone know what this is?
