When DS started doing that (at a similar age, although I think he was ten months?), it was time to drop one. I was dreading it, but it was actually a good thing in the end.]]>

Once he'd woken twice in a row at that time we moved that time to 5.40...and so on.<br />Of course that would only work if you're okay with letting DS cry a little bit.<br />Our DS would cry for a bit but generally just start talking to himself until we got him up! Very cute.]]>

DS2 (9mths) wakes between 5 & 5.30am and I'd rather he didn't.  I guess I shouldn't be complaining that my baby sleeps 10hrs, but I'd really rather it was 11.  A good wakeup time would be closer to 6 / 6.30 am.<br /><br />I've tried leaving him to cry - I give up at 1/2hour and by then it's so close to get up time anyway.  <br />I've tried feeding him (BF) and putting him back in his cot, again no luck and by then it's so close to get up time anyway.<br /><br />The room is very dark, and I think we've got his room temp / bedding sorted.<br /><br />Anything else we could try?]]>
