I agree on the Huggies being the best! I stock up when theyre on special. Found newborns lasted her a while (she was born 9lbs), probably a month and a half or so.. Then the infant size was only about a month, then she has been on crawlers since then (is now 8.5kg, almost 9mths). DD has only ever worn huggies as they have been a great nappy. I did try treasures one time and they were useless. I buy them on special and sometimes stock up so I don't run out in a hurry. Last box I brought was at countdown for $39.99 so  newborn nappies will be less than 30 cents.

Now if I only wish she will starting using the potty at just over 3 years

Warehouse has newborn huggies for $8.99 30pack which is 30c a nappy. I brought 6 packs and hav gone thru them all in 19 days baby was 6lb12 when born and now 8lb will go buy another couple packs this size say they will fit till 9lb. Treasures newborn are a slightly bigger fit. to will go onto them next. The supermarket always have specials and you can use any huggie vouchers you get as well.

Huggies NB didn't fit my girl very well she was teeny tiny NB I preferred treasures or babyloves

the babies.co.nz boxes are a bit bigger than the supermarket jumbo boxes. i've found warehouse and countdown/woolworths ofthen have the jumbo boxes for $38/$39 and that's better than the online one's i've seen.

Countdown usually have boxes of Huggies on sale for around $39 quite regularly and if you have a $5 off voucher (Bounty pack from MW?) then that's a good saving.

Be aware though if you have a large baby you may not get to use a whole box of NB size. Babyonline. I didn't use a lot of sposies when the were new, but these worked well and they work out cheaper than Huggies.

On special at the supermarkets and the warehouse at $40. We used huggies when our DD was new. Huggies are a good brand but buy them on special and you can use your vouchers also at supermarkets. So this will give you an extra $5 or so off & you don't have to pay freight.

I don't buy many disposables - but, if you can get the big huggies box for about $40 or under, that's a good special. Hi all, bout time I stocked up on some newborn disposables for the impending arrival in December. Can anyone give me an idea of what is a good price to pay? babies.co.nz currently have the Huggies 144 newborn pack for $49.99 (.35c per nappy), delivery $7.50 extra. Is that about as good as it gets or are the occasional supermarket specials better value?
