Kept offering the bottle everytime he battered it away. It took a good 15mins the first time before he would even take it. I also offered it to him at every second feed until he kinda "got" it and would take a bottle as readily as a bf.
It may be worth getting your partner to offer the bottle and you be in a different room. It was the turning point for us when my MIL feed him instead of me, he didn't fuss at all.

But its worth noting that we were using EBM and not formula.

At 6mths I'm back at work part time. Expressing doesn't work for me (though I'll have to pump a bit the day I'm away from him) so I don't have any EBM in the freezer.
So it's FF 1 day a week for my boy. My question is, how do I get him to take a bottle?
DH has tried a couple of times and he doesn't seem to know what to do with it, or doesn't like the formula - it's hard to tell. Either way I end up feeding him after the failed FF attempt.
