Author: snugglebug
Subject: 40663
Posted: 02 October 2011 at 8:42pm

I am finding it a lot easier to be able to cook things both baby and we can have for dinner, saves time and money too. He is eating things that are of a mashed texture and has finger foods too, but I try to give him a softer dinner as well as some finger food, otherwise a lot of his food ends up thrown lol so he might have a soft dinner then some pieces of pasta or veges, pieces of fruit etc.

So far I have made sheperds pie, bologneise and chilli con carne (not spicy) and he has enjoyed all of those.

Does anyone have dinners they often do for baby/toddler and themselves?

I realise I could give him whatever we have but at times we have things I wouldn't want him to eat yet eg spicy or a bit rich etc.

He is dairy intolerant but I can leave cheese out/use soy milk

Thanks!
