I haven't used a kit but you use the first day of you m/c as day one of your cycle, but, your "cycle" can be up to two weeks longer after a miscarriage :)
I miscarried at six weeks also and it took 5 and a half weeks (from day one of m/c) for AF to show her ugly face. Got preggers on the very next cycle though!
Good luck hun and baby dust.

Don't worry though if your first cycle is not the usual length. Some people take a few months for their cycles to settle down again.

If you want help figuring out what is happening with yours, I would try fertilityfriend.com. it is free and I learnt alot from it. It teaches you how to take your temp each day and you can use a chart to keep a track of your signs.

It is my first and it occurred at 6weeks. I'm keen to get back on the horse so to speak and just bought a first response pregnancy planning thingy from the supermarket in the hope it will help. Is this something lots of you are doing? Had any luck with them? Is there any point doing it just after a m/c? Or maybe this is the best time as my usually-regular cycle will be totally out of whack?

Last question, usual cycle length is 31 days. Should I count first day of m/c as CD1 and start testing on CD14 as recommended?

Thanks very much!
