With her adjusted age she is only 6 weeks old, and they still sleep lots then. DD didnt really start staying awake longer until about 3 months. I would have loved to have had a baby that went to sleep well! Enjoy it while it lasts <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0"> ]]>

    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=24583">Marengo</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 38929<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 26 April 2011 at 9:35am<br /><br />My daughter seems to get overtired really quickly, she is never awake for an hour between naps unless its the evening time when she doesnt settle well and tends to get herself overtired, is it normal for a baby to get overtired so easily?<br /><br />she wakes and has a quick play or a cuddle with dad or a chat with me, nappy change, feed one side, wrap, feed other side then settle to bed which all takes maybe half an hour and then she is showing tired signs and will settle off to sleep within a few mins, i'm wondering there is something wrong with her getting tired so quickly?  i thought at this age she would be awake for over an hour now?  <br /><br />If i try to interact with her for any longer she just gets her tired stare on and gets upset and overtired..  ive also tried changing her routine to feed play sleep instead of play feed sleep but it just doesnt work for us at all..<br /><br />does it sound about normal for a baby this age?]]>
