Big big hugs coming your way. 

Hopefully you can get some helpful advice from your GYN, and get that BFP soon.  I totally understand how damn hard it is.  It's 22 months for us now and I know from my own experiences it can be hard to stay positive.

Baysmum, why eptopic? I understood that you still get bfp even with eptopic.

When I tested for this baby, I had a dark line and pale line, I thought I was imagining it. It was about 3wks post conception. Oh, Baysmum I understand, I really do. I'm up to 16 months of nothing but bad luck in this corner too. I'm hoping my endo surgery will change things, but time alone will tell.

Good luck for your gyno appointment - if nothing else, it will make you feel better knowing you've made the first steps. Not good news unfortunately im off to doctors tommorow to discuss possible ectopic pregnancy .
I have gyno appointment on the 19th so hopefully they can help us with our constant problems because after 15 odd months!!! of nothing but bad luck, we are getting to our witts end

I don't want to scare you but i got 2 evap lines and they were the colour of the test. Actually thinking back it could of been an early m/c as i was late but who knows. It will probably be darker with FMU too...

My first BFP was quite light but definitely noticeable, and by about 4 days later the line was the same color as the control line. My test was really light the one i got from the pharmacy and i got my bloods done when i was 14dpo and it was 270 which is high but yet my tests were still light. They didnt darken till i was past 6 weeks

My line originally came up between 5 and 10 minutes. I had thrown the thing in the rubbish in frustration and then gone and had another look after a few minutes and there it was. The line didn't have any colour and I seriously thought I was imagining it - wanting it to be there so much. I went to family planning that day and asked them to test me and they did two tests and they were still very very faint but positive I did another test that night - paranoid - and it was still as faint as it was before. I did a test every day for the next week and they only started to darken a little after about three days. my bfp was so faint I thought I was imagining it. I did some research on evap lines and it seems that an evap line will be clear in colour. Also from what you said you have done more than one, it is unlikely that you will get more than one as they aren't common at all. I tested at what turns out 3w and man It was so faint I couldnt believe it! I had to do like 3 tests to confirm it!
Its more a light pink to a red!

Im just afraid its an evaporation line although i always use the same brand and iv never had an evaporation line before but its just soooooooo faint!!! you CAN see it without holding it up to light though but its so faint that i cant make out whether its red or not!!!.....I think it is!?!?....(im staring at it right now!
Was your BFP so faint that you couldnt make out what colour the line was??? or did you have to hold it up to a light to see it??? and how long did it take for the line to come up??? Sorry bout the 20 questions!!! i promised myself that i wouldnt go nutts thinking about it!!!

Hi Ladies,
Well i tested twice yesterday and got 2 very very very faint BFP so today i went and got a blood test and il get the results on monday morning but im not getting my hopes up because they were so very faint. Doctor worked out when she thought i may have concieved based on all my notes i take down! and she thinks that i probably didnt concieved until the 12th instead of the 5th (which is what i thought) so that would only make me 2W4D (past conception)/ 4W4D since period date.

I have my fingers crossed but if its not i still have my gyno appointment in a few weeks

I had bfp late this time around. After an early miscarriage in February I had a long period in March and didn't start ovluating for another few weeks. Turns out that I got preg 5 weeks after that, so my cycle was kind of disrupted.

I would love to hear from ladies who have had late BFPs or know of anyone who has... im currently 6 days late and absolutely no sign of AF showing up but im still getting BFN (last one was 2 days ago)...
