12DPO is quite early to test as well, many tests will give you a positive at this stage, but not all. Its hard, but wait as long as you can before you test. 4DPO is 4 days post ovulation, it's best to wait until about 12DPO to test as the pregnancy hormone that the test picks up is very low for the first 2 weeks.
So wait until your period is due or late (if you can contain yourself) before testing with your first morning urine (FMU).

I think (!?) i am 4DPO; after a dream last night i thought i'd try a HPT = BFN =

Have i tried too eary and am I now in the 2WW?

When should I test.
