I think of heat rash as prickly like. So I'd say what youre describing would be heat rash. We thought my daughter had heat rash, took her to the Dr and they mis-daignosed it as a viral rash. She actually has a skin condition called keratosis pilaris

Yep that's what it looks like. Not too diff from a hormone rash when they are breastfeeding too. Heat rash usually centralises around the tummy and creases. What does heat rash look like?
DS has got this rash, I'm wondering if it's heat rash but I'm not sure what it's supposed to look like. He's got no other 'symptoms'.
It's like little tiny red spots all over his tummy/back/thighs. The inside thigh/crotch area is the worst.
