I've got those mesh wrap 'bumpers', they aren't very high at all. We used them to help stop DS throwing his dummy out the cot.

Get an old sheet and use that like the mesh bumpers, just safety pin it together. Run it along the inside of the rungs, put it through the gap between the last rung and the end of the cot side, and join the 2 ends with safety pins IYKWIM?? This way you can have it as high as you like. They look good ta but l'm still not sure if they go high enough, he tends to stand up then get his knee wedged. in the last few weeks DS keeps getting his knee stuck in the cot rungs. The first couple of times it was an accident but now l think the little toad is doing it on purpose to get us to come in and see him when hes meant to be sleeping.

l've tried putting a bumper on his cot but it doesnt go up high enough if that makes sense.
