In hamilton the habitat for humanity shop is always taking stuff. they have a big loading dock you just put it on. They are not fussy going by the stuff in their shop and they

If you head into town along te rapa straight then at the round a bout for bryant road (medical center and pharmacy on the corner) just turn left and there are the signs just on the left for them. does anyone know where these drop off places are in either auckland or hamilton.

I could just wait for a local school to have a gala but i kind of want the stuff gone asap. my living room is just taken up with boxes of unwanted stuff. and there is loads more to sort through.


I am very close to just taking everything to the dump, there is a hopice store in town might ask them where i can drop stuff off.

I took a re useable shopping bag full of pregnancy and birth related magizines to the maternity hospital.

I just called the Sallies in Tawa and dropped it off on one of the days they were open. That way, they can't refuse it hahaha.

Women's refuge is my first choice but what they take does depend on where you live. In Wellington they've got so much stuff that they were only taking whiteware. So the rest of the stuff got bagged up and the Sallies came and picked it up (I was lucky I guess because the only thing they didn't take was an old gas heater).

For anything that doesn't get taken by the WR or Sallies you could check with your Council.
