Osh kosh at target is dirt cheap, Like $10 shirts and $12 jeans. On special I would get them for $5 Mossimo also at target. Jeans for the kids. Oh and energizer batteries. Can't beleive how expensive batteries are here. Also polly pocket and littlest pets shop and lego. Also my carpet stain remover and ironing in a bottle. Just spray the wrinkles away. I can't remember all the things I will look out for but just to have the variety. Definately got shoppers withdrawal. As for restaurants can't wait for olive garden, joes crab shack and red lobster. They aren't that great but you miss them when they aren't around. But in saying all that I love being back home in NZ a quick shopping fix every two years is more than adequate. Take empty suitcases.

To get a 220v one is hard as there is no call for it in the states. I had no luck just going into shops. I was looking for stuff before moving back to nz and I had to go online for it all. They are purely for an overseas market. Most websites in the US do free domestic shipping.

Customs do waiver the fees if it is under $60 but in this case it may be slightly more but compared to $800-1000 for the same item here it isn't a bad deal still. Also there possibly will be a customs transaction fee of $23

Edited by kiwi2

You can buy the correct voltage ones over there but you need to go to a specialty store. They are online and you just need to google 220v kitchen aid. I wouldn't ship. Going to the states you can get two suitcases of 50lbs each. I would use your kitchen aid as one of those suitcases packed in a box with clothes around it.
