With my first AF was over a week late when I did a test & it came up pos before the test line came up. I went to the Dr & had it confirmed then went home & went to the toilet & had a heavy bleed, if I had not had a pos result I would of thought I had a very heavy AF, bleeding & then spotting went on for over a week, a scan showed no problems so they thought it was due to implantation...it was scary tho. All my pg's have had early bleeding.

Got my test results back and my HCG levels went up from 84 to 200 so I'm definitely pregnant! So relieved the bleeding wasn't a misscarriage - must have been implantation. I would guess implantation bleeding rather the MC, as the bleeding sounds like it wasn't too much and only one day... plus you got a positive a few days after and if it was a very early MC the hormones usually leave your system pretty quickly... We've been TTC for a year, and I had a gush of bleeding the day my period was due, and I thought it was my period, but then I had nothing but very light spotting so I took a HPT a few days later and it was a faint positive.

I went to the Dr for a test and it was faint there too, and when I told them about the bleeding they had me take a blood test. I need to have another one tomorrow so they can see if my hormones have gone up.
