Aveeno baby have brought out a sunscreen. I haven't tried it yet but love their other baby products. Invisible Zinc is a good option. We used this on Jude last summer. It is a physical sunscreen rather than a chemical sunscreen. The key agent zinc oxide is already a key ingredient in many baby creams and skin salves anyway.

There is a Junior one in the range, but we just got the normal one as an examination of the ingredients revealed the only real difference between them was the junior one was in a roll on bottle and the normal one was in a pump bottle

It is a wee bit more expensive than other sunscreens but it lasts for ages and was the one I felt most comfortable using on such a small baby. We're off to Fiji next week and will obviously try and keep bubs in the shade as much as possible (we've bought one of those sun tents) but want to use cream as well, just to be sure.

The link doesn't mention anything about baby specific sun cream, so I guess the standard Cancer Society cream will do? I always by Factor 30+

Mucky Tiger - that's really good to know as I though you could start using sunscreen from 3 months. the older he is before you start using it the better.

there has always been a recommendation as far as im aware that children under 6 months should not use sunscreen as the chemicals in it can damage their skin and make them allergic to sunscreen.

Some doctors will prescribe low allergen sun screen but not all pharmacies in town can make it/buy it in but can be worth asking.
I always used it as a kid, it was SO thick and white, took ages to rub in but worked well and had No fragrance in it

Bubs has eczema which is under control at the mo, so I was hoping someone could recommend a sunscreen for him which isn't going to aggrivate his skin. I have no clue what brands are out there for babies, so any suggestions would be fab.
