We have a Mini Glider which is a metal alloy one. It has brakes which are great once they get moving a bit esp. on hills. It also has loads of seat height adjustment and the handlebars adjust too (not poss on the wooden ones). we got mocka's.
what i didn't consider was the lack of brakes.
ours have been crashed numerous times with bits flying off all over the place from getting up too much speed down hills.

We have a Runna Balance Bike and it's very cool - granted DS is too young to use it yet but we bought it at the Parent & Child Show last year from The Wooden Toy Store. It retails for around $99 I think and they were doing it for $49 at the show.. we couldn't resist!

We have a mocka one that my son absolutely loves - it seems to be good quality and is surviving lots of bumps and crashes. It was one of the cheaper ones I could find at the time I was looking to buy one. I know there have been a couple of other reviews on these but I just want to find out what brand people think are the best as I am looking at getting one for our son. I have looked at:
- Early RIder
- Mocka
- Kobba
- Babbastuff (on trademe)
I do want a wooden one, what do people think are better and if there are other brands people prefer. I know they range in price so just looking for what people think.
