Apparently this is what their mother does to show them where to use the toilet.  We've done this with past kittens and it worked well.<br /><br />I also suggest moving the litter box really gradually.  Like, less than a metre per day, so that he can still find it close to where he's used to finding it.]]>

We have recently installed a cat door so are trying to wean him off his kitty litter box. We have moved the box down by where the door is and he seems to know where it is as he uses it sometimes. However he is at least once a day soiling the carpet where the kitty litter box once stood.<br /><br />Any tips to get him going outside? ]]>
