Personally I would love it, Christmas is the BEST day of the year and I think it would be really special! I like the idea of a birthday dinner on Christmas Eve too!

My Brother & SIL are due with their first baby on 1st Jan 2011 and people have already told them it's such a bad day to have a baby.. it's so ridiculous, a birthday will always be special regardless of what day it's on!!

    Author: myonlineself
Subject: 35518
Posted: 31 August 2010 at 9:15pm

I haven't read all the posts either, but I'm a Christmas Day baby.. people ALWAYS comment on it.. and sometimes I think its a sucky birthday, but the more I have thought about it, I actually think its the best birthday. I LOVE Christmas day, its my absolute fav day of the year .... I get so excited still about it, and I'm sure that's cause its my birthday too.... we always still have a birthday cake after dinner on Christmas day, and no one ever forgets my birthday. I used to have half birthday parties when I was younger, and for my 25th birthday is was the first time I had a party with friends on my actual birthday - we had a champagne breakfast. It was once people were old enough to do their own thing, and most people enjoyed the chance to hang with friends in the morning and then family the rest of the day.

Anyway, long story short, I think its a great birthday, always surrounded by family, and once your little one is older - they can always have a party a few weeks early, or may even chose the half-birthday thing for a bit of fun. (I used to say it wasn't fair that I got presents only once a year and my brother got them every 6 months since he's a June baby)!
