Author: whitewave
Subject: 35478
Posted: 28 August 2010 at 10:01pm

I used to have two Baby Cheeks nappies that I bought last year some time, and one of those developed what sounds like the same problem. The inside side of the PUL started peeling off in places, and it was the only nappy of mine that this has happened to. I've never used eucalyptus or citrus oils in my nappy washes, and I think I stripped some of my nappies only once, with baking soda and white vinegar in the wash. So I'm pretty confident it wasn't baking soda or anything else that caused the problem.

I sold both nappies, as they weren't a good fit on my son, so I couldn't say if the problem got worse, or if the other one developed the same problem too. But my personal opinion is that the PUL was of poor quality, which is not good enough considering the price that they charge for Baby Cheeks nappies. Sounds like those people are trying to fob you off, shame on them!

The issues I have had is from poor quality workmanship.
