I was just chuckling to myself -I'd had to share a bed with my brother the poor boy would have been traumatised.

He was a teeth grinder and really noisy sleeper and it would wake me. We used to share a room a lot, when people visited, at Grandparents etc. I used to throw pillows and stuff at him. If I been close enough to kick him I might have done some real damage. (seriously stroppy child) Plus he's a total lark and would always wake way earlier than me. On the plus side we'd a great time chatting each other.

His wife has all the same issues, but obviously she's a bit nicer about it.

This happens at home or on holiday though, so more to do with being in the same room rather than the same bed.
LOL

Our boys are toying with the idea at the moment...but we are going to try then sharing a ROOM first (again) and take it from there. DS1 has just turned 7 this week and DS2 is 3 next month.

Unfortunately I am expecting the sleep thing to get worse not better, so we are doing a 'test run' this weekend of them sharing a room to see what happens.

DS2 can be a very early riser...and I am talking sub 5am if he is in a mood; DS1 can sleep in as late at 7 if he is so inclined, but is generally up between 6-6:30.

No help I know....but it's rare to find someone who will actually entertain the idea of a sibling/family bed so had to 'jump in'. hehehehehehehe
