Also with the Bonjela, it was in the news a couple of months ago and my PN also reminded me but stick to the dosage. You could always use your finger. If it is his teeth he'll chomp down on your finger until he feels a bit better, which I find really cute to watch. Less cute is the dribble, keep a cloth handy to wipe your hand afterwards :P

We've been 'teething' for a couple of months now but nothing is coming through yet, still moving around. I give bonjela (but it's not to be used before 4 months.)

We have teething rings but like you, they're too big!

I have started to give teething rusks, I know they are 6 months, but she is 6 months in just over a week and knows what to do with them, etc.

I always used muffin trays to freeze food , better sized portions ...anyway , off topic

Yes I give Nurofen for Children at night as it lasts 8hrs and helps them to sleep. And only give Pamol during the day if really upset.

If you get a Nuby chewer or similar brand and pop a piece of apple in it (you could put the apple in the fridge) they like to chew on something hard and sometimes it helps them to push the tooth through the gum. Also if your baby is having solids and you freeze food in icecube containers, grab one of the cubes and put it in the Nuby chewer thingee and they can suck on that - so soothing for their gums. nurofen is from 3 months, so he can have that I find it works SO much better than pamol.

My kids have both worn amber teething necklaces from 3 monthys too, I think they do help.

Or just a facecloth in the fridge, usually the back at the bottom is the coldest place.

You could also try teething beads, Weleda Teething powder or Naturopharm Teethmed. I think he is too young for ibuprofen but you could also try pamol if it gets bad

I think our son might be starting to teeth, i have brought the Bonjella and teething rings but all the rings i can find are to big for his mouth He is on solids and i thought maybe i get one of those gauze things and put some fruit in there, fruit that wont squeeze out the holes and maybe he could suck on that and it would fit in his mouth...
