    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=23670">mcshort</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 35033<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 04 August 2010 at 7:52am<br /><br />Hehe resident poo expert, I like it!<br /><br />Our child development expert friend said that it should be the consistency of porridge (mmmm).  <br /><br />He's at 21 months now and antibiotics still give him runnier poop, but I give him a probiotic and the BRAT diet (bananas, rice, applesauce and toast) and cut down on acidic things until his nappies are more bearable again.<br /><br />Our little guy at 14 months-ish had a bad run of runs after a couple of lots of antibiotics and the usual growing toddler stuff, and I figured out it was cow's milk causing the problem so we went from nasty poop I had to scrub off the cloth nappies to the oatmealy type.  <br /><br />How's that for putting you off your brekkie?!! <img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0"> <span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by mcshort</span>]]>

I keep forgetting to get some.<br /><br />Consistency is the key, meaning as long as the pooh is pretty regular & always the same then that will be just how that kid goes on that diet. There could be mild intolerances but nothing to major.<br /><br />My poor lad gets anything right from liquid right up to a nicely formed pooh.<br /><br />Oh and smell....if it smells really horrendous then that is not too good either.]]>

He's other wise fine. DD eats veges, and well, everything, she isnt fussy at all.<br /><br /><br />My parents used to give us a spoonful of malt each day too, I cant remember why...lol<br />]]>

The mandarins & peaches might be a little to acidic for her tummy if her tum is still recovering from that bug.]]>
