I personally wouldn't take kids to Dixon St Deli as it's way too tight and fairly noisy depending what time you're there. If it's a nice day Astoria on Lambton Quay is good because you can at least sit outside. Brooklyn cafe is great - can be pricey but not so bad if you just have counter food rather than something off the menu. Brooklyn Cafe on college street is child friendly, not sure about the change facility but the have a kids play area so possiblly.

I am having lunch with my father next week in Wellington CBD, are there any child friendly cafes? Most I know of are either upstairs or very limited space or no change table. I know there is the Southern Cross place up Cuba, just wondering if there is anything else?

Has to be CBD as neither of us have a car!
