C wears a teething necklace all the time but not sure how much it's helping as he hasn't really taken it off IYGWIM!<br /><br />We also have a homeopathic teething powder - Nelson's Teetha from the UK.  It contains chamomilla .. argh and lactose, starch and xylitol apparently so perhaps not a good option if you're avoiding dairy.  Bummer as it really seems to help here!]]>

We use an amber necklace too.  <br /><br />I can't work out how to use bonjela, is there a trick?  I assumed it would be completely simple but every time he's licked it off before I've had a chance to get it near his gums!  Seems to like it<img border="0" src="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0"> <br /><br />So far apart from terrible sleep, he hasn't seemed too upset though, just a couple of times on the day they came through briefly and a quick spritz with the spray seemed to do the trick. We use it with DD and although it's quite expensive (about $20) the bottle lasts for ages. Just do 2 sprays in the mouth. You can get it at the chemist. ]]>

Just use the recommended dosage.<br /><br /> Mum2ET - yeah i think the tablets are helping Caide, he isn't teething too bad yet but they are moving round and we haven't had too many upset days or nights with him.  I would recommend them.]]>

I think from memory that a baby died (in Britain?) from using it.<br /><br />Naturopharm do a teething spray which we use.  Failing that we use Nurofen.]]>

I have found an ice cube in his mesh feeder thing has worked a treat.  It is a temporary solution but it keeps him happy for a little while.<br /><br />We also have used a teething necklace, teething toys, bonjela & pamol. <br /><br />ETA - oops just saw you needed relief for sleep - we use Bonjela alot these days just before bedtime at night and it seems to do the trick.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by monkey33</span>]]>

Hate seeing them in pain!<br /><br />I'm using New Era Teething Tablets for DS - you get them from the health shop.  Just dissolve 2 on the tongue at feeding time 3 times a day or when the pain is really pain you give 2 dissolved in warm water every 15 mins.<br /><br />DS hasn't got bad teething just yet but seems to be helping him and my aunty used them for both her girls.]]>
