Check out the <a href="http://www.slingbabies.co.nz" target="_blank">Slingbabies</a> website for information about positiioning etc, and if you're in Auckland, head along and try the carriers out.<br /><br />ETA - also pays to check how you've fitted it like the others said. I've worn Dan on my back with a well-fitted wrap and had no problems even while walking for 1 1/2 hours, yet another time when it and he weren't positioned right, was in agony after 15 minutes.<span style="font-size:10px"><br /><br />Edited by Flissty</span>]]>

Its the waist not the shoulder straps that takes the weight.  I used to do mine too tight and it gets sore<br /><br />Thats about all I can think of. Try adjusting where you have the waist belt sitting or the length of the straps.]]>

This one seems quite similar though.<br /><br />Yesterday I tried it (carrying her on my back), and DD loved it.  But I had to take it off after about 1/2 hour as my back was really sore (about half way down on my right side of my spine - probably muscular pain).<br /><br />Does this mean I am wearing it wrong?  Or is it the cheap pack? <br /><br />Can anyone help?]]>
