Our door gets stuck about 2 feet up when it is cold, still goes down well and goes up if you rest your fingers lightly on the bottom of the door. Random and probably easily fixed but haven't got around to it yet. But is a real pita when its raining with bubba in the car. In summer it works really well  lol.

We have an electric/automatic one and tbh it is a PITA! Not sure of the brand, it's about 10 years old so maybe that's why but, it has always, always got stuck halfway, jammed, the motor in the bit that retracts it will stop so you'll have to pull a chain (like on those old ceiling fans) to start it again. And the remote never went. so the garage at our new house has a munted door. it might be okay for another couple of weeks if i dont open it to get the car out every day... so needs to be replaced and hopefully made automatic.

so has anyone replaced a garage door and have any recommendations please?
