DS would go down and then 1/2 an hour 45 mins later he would be wide awake and then wouldn't go down til 1030-11...
Thanks to one of the wonderful girls on here they gave me a copy of the sleep sense programme and it has really worked.. we started it last friday and have a really good night time routine now and then he goes into bed and stays there for the night.. the first night it took 50mins to resettle him when he woke at that mark, then 45 mins the next night, then 30mins the next... then he just started grizzling for like 30 secs, then last night he slept 730-5 with no noise at all! I know that is not really going to work with the 3 being in the one room, but maybe worth borrowing a heater to heat the boys rooms for a week so you could try it?

Just a thought but we bathed Lily in the mornings and she would always be playful at night and be a pita to get down! At 11ish weeks we made a routine where we would bath her before bed, used to be 7.30 we would bath her but now it is 6-6.30 and she will have a story and feed after and then goes down for the night.

Then again every baby is different, and although Lily goes down great she still wakes 2-3 times during the night.

We also start the day about 7am. I found any later and we would have problems later.

And agree with TaliP.

Or are you able to move her into you and dh's room? Rather than room sharing?

Lily sleeps much better on her own but am guessing due to you room sharing there probably isn't that much room...

Our routine for DS a few weeks ago was:

7.30am - Up & feed
9am - Sleep
11am - Feed
1230pm - Sleep
3pm - Feed
4pm - 45 min nap if grumpy or if has slept badly during day
5.30pm - Bath
6.00pm - Feed & book
6.45pm latest - Bed

DS sometimes wakes briefly anytime around 8-10pm sometimes and if we leave him for around 10 mins he goes back to sleep - how long do you leave it before you go in?

ETA - Our DS sleeping patterns changed alot at 5 months - he went from sleeping through to waking up to 8 times! We had a similar issue at 2am - he would wake and would be wide awake for up to 2 hours. I'm not sure if it was the fact that we left him to grizzle longer or that he has changed his sleeping patterns on his own, but he has stopped doing that now thankfully.

Edited by monkey33
