I think its coated in something heat resistant?</P>]]>

It gets hot and agree with Alex, it's just part of life, it's metal... Although the one like a play pen has bigger gaps and doesn't get hot like the other one does which looks more like a fly screen door iygwim! ]]>

It does get hot - it's metal and that's just part of life, but Thomas knows that it's hot and doesnt touch it ever since the fire door incident where he had to touch it because he didnt believe me. I've attached it to the wall with a couple of small screw in hooks. ]]>

We were going to go down to the Warehouse and buy one that would fit around it and attach it to the wall somehow but wondered if it would heat up really hot if it's metal?  We don't want to pay hundreds for something.  What have others done?]]>
