Daizy, when you request to join, there isn't anywhere for people to actually say who they are... so I think you will need to make it that once everyone has been accepted they MUST put who they are on the discussion board. If they don't well they may be unjoined! (new word for today).

ETA: I just put a note in the info tab asking people to please let us know who they are... In theory there should be 64 posts telling us who everyone is... but there is only 35.. make sense?

Wow, so many keen people.
Day 1 is almost over and there has been heaps of awesome photos on the FB page.

For anyone who hasn't yet checked out the facebook page, be sure to read the discussion posts.

At the moment it looks like the current theme is winter (although there are no rules, you can still post what ever you like).

Ok, so I have been looking through my photos of the last month and really there is not a lot to see. I have totally lost my motivation when it comes to taking photos, I know I have heaps already, thats probably an understatement, so really people were probably relieved I have been so quiet. Anyway I want to get back into taking photos again, I don't want to miss any more of those beautiful moments.

So my challenge is, for the month of July, to take (at least) a photo a day. This photo could be anything, what ever inspires you, your mood, or even just your children... finding the beauty in every day things.
And maybe once a week, a friday we could do a Friday Five, where we have five specific things to capture on camera, your self, favourite thing etc...??

You dont need to be a fancy photographer with a fancy camera, they are just simple snap shots of life. And you never know you may be inspired by others, learn something new and discover the photographer in yourself.
No one has to commit to the full 31 days although I know I am going to try my hardest to keep it up every day...

We could set up a thread in the photo gallery or even a FB page... ??

So.. who's keen to join me...?
