We got ours on special for $550 only 9 months ago.

Its an awesome car seat, but I'm going to keep DD rear facing for longer after so many ladies pointing me to youtube to watch the vids on RF v FF. DD will be too heavy in a few months to be in it RF any longer.
They are very very good seats, I am still weighing up if I should just keep it for the other car.

The head support isn't bulky or annoying for the kids, in fact my daughter loved rocking her head back and forth between them to put herself to sleep Besides then we upgraded her to the Recaro Young sport which has a massive head support to the point that it restricts vision out the window - and it still doesn't bother her

All the padding can get a bit hot in summer btw, but we just undress our kids appropriately when they are in the car. The bonus is that they are so snuggly and comfy in there Also keep in mind that as they get bigger some of it comes out.

Is it annoying for the baby/child? Do they get too hot?

Or i'm considering waiting for the sunshine kids radian one to come out in stores so I can have a look before deciding.
