Hi RachB
I know of plenty of people that have conceived on a first round of IVF so it is definitely possible - unfortunately I also know of friends that have taken up to five cycles - it really depends I guess.
Don't forget though that you may get more than 1 good embryo out of a cycle so a "round" could also include a number of FETs.

We have been TTC for round 2 years now and due to my DF having a LSP we were referred to FA and are now on the public waiting list (18-22months) for IVF.

We have been told that you get 2 public funded cycles. I was wondering has anyone had a sucess from the 1st cyle of IVF or do you need to have more than one cycle?
