no petroleum.. all natural...


baby maybe dehydrated too.. so offer lots of water and milk :)

The lady at the pharmacy sold me a Pawpaw ointment so have been using that

I have some nipple creams here from bf so will use those instead

I wouldnt use vaseline, its derived from petroleum (I'm sure its fine in tiny amounts but I wouldnt start using it personally) and Paw Paw Ointment has something in it too that isnt natural, maybe its the petroleum too I forget and CBA looking it up.

I'd look for a Weleda product - I use their Weather Protection Cream on DS who gets cracked cheeks in the winter time, its light and silky rather than gloopy and thick - its lovely!

I would think the nipple creams like Lanisoh or Purelan would be okay to use on her dry cracked lips, because when using on your nipples you don't have to wash it off before feeding. My baby girl has a dry cracked top lip which has bled a couple of times.
Spoke to plunketline and they said use Vaseline or a lip balm

Does anyone have any other ideas ? Would any of the nipple lotions be okay to use???
