All supplements will have an expiry date Tysmummy - have a look at the base of the jar - with a batch number

Omega and immnuofort are great for preventing winter chills for sure, but there are a few conditions which are supported by a healthy bacteria balance in the tum - without being on anti biotics - that probiotics are awesome for

My little girl has only been in care 2 weeks and has a snotty nose already Becm - so I agree with tysmummy that there is only so much you can do to avoid winter snuffles - but there are immuno support liquids on the market to help little ones out though - Id have a chat to someone at the health store or a natropath (sp) in addition to using a probiotic - although I do recommend them for helping to cope with tummy bugs which could be rather nasty for an under 2

Yeah you can , but its not nearly as strong, so if you are having issues its better to use the powder/caps etc

Could be yeah, Im only familiar with the inner health plus brand cause my led pharmacist was mad on it - but Im sure if you go to a health shop there are some other good brands too

Its great for excema, asthma, runny bums, low immunity loads of stuff - so worth the money anyway

They are actually different ingredients so it kind of depends what your using it for - but the powder isnt indicated for babies under 3 months

The capsules have cow colostrum in them - so I wouldnt actually recommend them for babies under 1

We got some at about 2 months as I'd been on about 4 weeks of antibiotics over that time and he had so many explosive poos and wind. We bought the powder - was $50 and put it in a bottle each night. Yep I used them after DS was on antibiotics. He had yucky nappies from the AB's and within 2 days of taking the probiotics they were back to normal. They are expensive though so wouldn't use it as an everyday thing. $30 for a bottle.
