the schleich ones are great. My parents also brought some brand called Bullyland on Trademe which are quite similar to Schleich but half the price.

You can get the Schleich ones on sale so you just have to keep your eye out. The Schleich ones are the ones I saw at toyworld and Daniel wouldn't let go of a couple of cat ones hehe.

I love the Schliech one. I think they sell them at Toy World and a smaller range at Kmart.

They are awesome and the poor Lion even survived a dog attack which I was impressed with. DS loves them, and although they are pricey I know they will last for my kids and probably grankids also. DS2 has got his hands on them once or twice and they have also survived intense chewing.

Kmart have them. The really good quality ones from memory I think they are $5-$10 . I have got most of Lukes ones from places like Arthurs Emporium, $2 shop etc. I have never bought the ones in the bags for the same reasons as you said, but the individual ones that you find are fine. Where can you get decent quality toy animals.. not soft ones but like plastic or whatever else they are made out of. I don't want ones that come in a bag and are crap cause the legs bend and break etc.
