Not sure if you are on Facebook SarahR, but I'm a 'Fan' of a shop called Bubbalooz and they have just put a post on their wall saying 'Qubies are on its way to Bubbalooz' they don't have a price and they aren't on the website yet but you could email them and ask.   Website is Bubbalooz

I used ice cube trays initially and then used a silicon mini-muffin tray once she started to eat more. The food came out easily and I stored the cubes in snaplock bags. Now I just get to make muffins in them instead

I just used regular ice cube trays and food pops out fine and then I pop into glad sandwich bags.

Thanks MrsH23. I thought I'd use them for ice blocks too when the kids are older and for cooking recipes (if I get that adventurous) for freezing lemon juice, fruit juice, stock, herbs, pestos, gravy, tomato paste, coconut milk, lime juice, condensed milk ... I've just read too that the lids are silicon, so non-stick. I got some icecube trays from the $2 shop, they work great!!! Or some icecube trays that I got from tupperware that have silicon button things on the bottom that make it easier to get out, and I can use them as icecube trays now that DS isn't on puree anymore.

Hi there,
I was thinking of getting some babyfood freezing trays as my little one is going onto solids now and I'm going to make puree's for her.

Anyway, I had a nosey on net earlier and saw these things called Qubies that are quite unique in their design (from Aust) for freezing baby food or breast milk or any other food. I could get one from over there online but would cost a bit with the postage (about $38).

The dividers are in the lid, not in the base part, so they look to be quite easy to open and get the food out of when frozen, and they're a decent size.   

Has anyone heard of these? Where can I get them from in NZ? And, has anyone used them?? How much do they cost here?
