We've gone for the P&T but our age gap is going to be smaller - my DS will be 23 months when #2 arrives. We borrowed a friends P&T a few times and tried DS in the front and the back and he loved both options. He's generally fairly easy going, sometimes kicks up a fuss about getting into the pram after he's been running around on the loose but will happily spend half the day out and about with me at the moment, so I'm hoping we're going to get a lot of use out of it

I'd go with the phil n teds option myself. but it would depend how much you intend on using it. you can pick them up on trademe for a couple hundy cheaper than retail or look out for a good sale. They have excellent resale value so although the initial outlay is expensive if you take care of it you will get alot of that outlay back.

Where we live a kiddy board wouldn't work for us so it would also depend on what terrian you would be going on. We have a 23 month age gap and use a skateboard, but the skateboard has a seat attachment which is brilliant. The skateboard and seat are specific to my pram (Bugaboo) but there is a generic skateboard that has an attached seat called a Kidsit - will see if I can find a link.

Hi there, we have number two on the way and I'm trying to work out what will be best in the buggy department.

DH is keen on getting a kiddy board to put on the back of our mountain buggy, but I'm not convinced DS will be content and (importantly!) compliant on it. I'm thinking that a phil'n'teds with the extra seat might be better for us... altho I don't really like the idea of one kid having a view of the back of the seat. I'm not keen on a traditional double buggy as it just seems too bulky...

Our DS is nearly 2 1/2 years, but easily gets bored walking alongside us and wants to be picked up.

What have you found to be best for your situation??
