Maybe you should get someone to look at it? Might be a case of the sooner you get to it, the better it feels. That's how it feels like for me anyway- wish I had done something sooner!

I gave birth 7 weeks ago and had some stitches for a tear I got, although I only got a couple of stitches there is scar tissue which has grown over some of the stitches that didn't get to dissolve properly which makes sex rather painful. Like hope2be it was uncomfortable and for me rather painful but after a couple of tries and lots and lots of vaseline (sp?) things are definitely feeling better (in terms of sex I mean)!

The doctor said it may take about 2 months for the stitches to finish dissolving but she said if not to come back and she'd see what she could do. She did say moisture and some lube would help heal it faster.

As for going loo I had no problems there from the start! Although the first time I went pee was scary and the same when I went poo but it was absolutely fine.

Eg sitting comfortably, going to the loo, riding a bike...(or your partner ) How long is normal?

It's been 18 months since the birth and 11 months since a minor surgery to help fix things, and things still aren't right...which makes TTC for #2 impossible at the moment!

Is there anyone else out there who took awhile to heal? Did it get better in the end?
