It was very easy to put up and down, but I wondered if it was a little too easy and was worried I would accidentally knock the wrong place and down she'd fold. Our lil boy didn't like it so much and put up a massive fuss everytime we used it. We sold that one and got a Milano travel system and it is soooo much better. Our boy is much happier, the stroller actually fits in the boot and we dont have to pull the boy in and out of his car seat when he is trying to sleep. Having the travel system allows baby to face us if he in his capsule or face out if he directly in the stroller. It has a three point lock system for putting it up and down which is much safer, would be very difficult to accidentally fold! Both strollers we bought off trademe.

It comes with an extra bit you can add once your child is older so it will do up to 3-4 years.

Yep, they can be expensive! Perhaps you could get the one you like and then hire the capsule that fits your stroller - if you can find the one that does.

*edited for spelling

Edited by MistyMolly

    Author: MistyMolly
Subject: 32642
Posted: 02 April 2010 at 9:43pm

I found choosing our buggy/pram/stroller one of the hardest decisions!!

I think in reality they all have their pros and cons.

We have a Quinny Buzz (you can change baby to face you or face forward, can click car capsule onto it, can get carry cot for it for when they are smaller babies) which I do really like but sometimes see others when I am out and about and wonder would we have been better with a Mountain Buggy or Phil n Teds.

The drawback for me with a Quinny is that once the baby is older and is awake more but perhaps might fall asleep if you are out and about for a long time, you can't just recline the seat with them in it. Does that make sense? It also can't do 2 babies/kids if you have a small gap between children (Phil n Teds is the brand that can take 2 kids).

Maclaren has been around a long time so could also be a good option and I see that Silver cross is now being sold in NZ - as a brand it has been around for years!!

Have a think about what you want from it. Some people like to go off road walking/running (def not me!!) and others just want an about town buggy.

Good luck in your quest to find a buggy!

Edited by MistyMolly
