We're in wellington and it's started to get cooler. We've just put DS into heavier night clothes and he's sleeping better.
Other than that, it could be time for solids, he's almost 6mths right?

That can have an influence on their wake up time the next morning for some reason - if their first nap is too early then they can see it as an extension to their night sleep. Tricky one to fix though if he has been up so early then he will need to get back to bed earlier!

Is he on solids yet? Could be time for that if not?

It can frustrating especially when you know he can sleep for 12 hours!!

But still feels like evening..
My 5.5 month old decided it was wakey wakey at 4.30am this morning and still awake and thinks its great being up all alone with mummy.

I don't know what's happening.. My boy went from a little angel sleeping from 7pm to 7am but of late has been waking at 3am, 4am, 5am, 6am ravinous for food and thats even after a 10pm dreamfeed.

Anyone else with this problem.. I know they say that anything over 5 hours is called a full nights sleep but I disagree.. Especially since he was sleeping 12 hours previously.

Ryder gets a couple of formula bottles every now and then because he is just about to suck my nipples off which makes me wonder if he getting enough milk. Breastfeeding should definately not hurt at this stage but I'm in pain after every feed.

Arrrrrgggghhhhhh...

Just wanted to see if anyone else having same problem with an early riser..
Have a happy easter...xxx
