Someone has listed one on Kidsgear just recently here, it's new as she actually makes them..I suspect if you contact her she can confirm if she can make it in a smaller size? Seems very reasonably priced at $10 for merino too.

have you had a look on trademe?
what about asking a knitters group in your area? say if you provide the wool will the knit it up?

Hi, if you have any wool singlets or wool mittens you'd be willing to part with for a baby - anything considered from 3mths to 9mths range please let me know! I find they are too expensive to buy new and my poor little one is starting to get cold at night!
