I continued with this until I found out I was UTD which by then I was about 4-5 weeks along. I still continued to run until about 12 weeks pregnant, including doing a 10km fun run that I was already entered into before finding out I was UTD!

I also stopped doing sit ups immediately, as I was advised by my personal trainer that it was definately a no no when UTD.

But once you're UTD you shouldn't do any sit ups at all...when I was preggers that was the one thing they told me i definitely couldn't do. You're tummy is trying to expand yet by doing sit ups you're tightening it...not good. Also pree ups rightening the abs too so you should restrict these when UTD.

But like I said I wouldn't worry about it while you're TTC.

:)

I was told it was safe to continue them until about 12 weeks when the baby moves up out of the pelvis, then some changes were made to the exercises.
I don't want to give up my exercise (can't run as I have bung knees) but if it will hurt my little sticky bean then I'll stop and find another way to work out.

Cheers
Bex
