LOL - glad to know there are others out there with the same problem as me!! I ended up with the Triumph ones this time round, but didn't help the mono-boob action happening!

My first two preganacies I stayed in underwire bras for as long as I could & used a strap extender as my back measurement expanded.

Sadly the selection in NZ is really limited... If you really want to invest in a good maternity bra take a look at some of the ones in the UK - I used to get all mine through www.bravissimo.co.uk when I lived there - they have some beautiful bras that don't look like your gran would wear them and they are very accurate with sizing. They ship to NZ & if you sign up to their email mailing list you'll get notices of when they have sales, which makes them about as affordable as the Triumphs, which are generally imported from Oz...

On the size front in the Triumphs I was wearing an F - my UK bras are a GG, so I get the size issue!!

Oh, and the Carriwell ones are great for sleeping in, though I didn't find them as comfortable for breastfeeding.

Just thinking about what my boobies are doing now and I realise that they aren't pushed together, cause they are in an underwire bra that had the underwire come out of. so they are in separate cups. Just a thought if you have any old bras lying around. I second Littlestar on the Womama range - generous sizing doesn't begin to describe them. I also bought one from the BB sale for $20 - I figured I had nothing to lose at that price, and I'm still waiting to grow enough to fit it! Yeah they do only go up to an 18F - but could still be worth a look as they are weirdly generous sizing. I'm not big in the cup size, but I take a size 18 at the moment a C cup and I struggle to find anything that fits, as most tend to stop at 16, and anything bigger doesn't come in the smaller cup sizes - also they look a bit nannary.

I know exactly how you feel. I don't think it is possible to keep them totally apart without an underwire unfortunately.

The best ones I have tried are the triumph bras which are about $65. They have a couple of styles but this one is by far the best I have ever tried. I'm liking the womama bras - although they are very generous sizing! I'm a 16E/F in regular brands at the moment but only a 16DD in theirs. actually looking at my boobs now i was wrong. they do spend a lot of time squished together... i hadnt actually noticed!

and how sad is it that i have a maternity bra on nearly two years after she was born...

Hotmilk are useless from the ones I tried on.

Tried fayreform and triumph.

I shifted mine about once on too bizzy but found within about 10 mins they were back to being squished together and I can't spend all day with my hands down my top moving my boobs about. I know theres a few maternity bras out there in big sizes (F, G cup) but what I've found in the past is that they push my boobs together and they get all sweaty and gross in between rather than keep them apart like with a normal bra.. Even if I get prof fitted it didn't make a difference..

For the bigger busted girls, have you found any maternity bras that don't do this?
