We use Slumbersacs and Dreambags. Both are fantastic, easy to wash and dry and have such funky designs. DS loves his fire truck dreambag. Also way way cheaper then merino bags! Thanks heaps for that. Kellz, I have 2 from th elink that Flake put up and they are brilliant. The bonus is that you get 2 for the price of 1 Gogo bag.

My whole coffee group ended up buying them and everyone has thought they are brilliant. It's good to air gogo bags. But apparently merino should NOT be hung in the sun. Always in the shade. I really like the woolbabe one, ours is a 100% merino lightwight one....not the winter weight. Its wool wash only (as most of them are) Thats the only downfall of them I suppose, I have some grobags that are not wool wash and a bit easier to wash/dry quickly.

I do find the merino doesn't need washing that much, now that DD doesn't spill its good for ages, I air the bags out in the sun though.
I love the gogo too, the winter one is really warm, I have a summer gogo that I find a little too hot at this time of year.

To sum up.... I would get the winter gogo if again, but it is expensive, I probably wouldn't buy the summer one as I think cotton easy to wash ones (grobags) are pretty good for summer. I love the woolbabe bag cause its the best bag to wash (of the merino type bags)

I like Grobags, used them with DD1 from 8 months onwards and never had any overheating problems.

I have a Gogo bag too (standard weight) and I didn't think it was warm enough for the middle of winter, whereas the 2.5 tog grobags were perfect.

I like the gogo bags because they are made of natural fibres. My one worry was overheating, and I just felt better knowing that was unlikely to happen. The other advantage is that the merino is on the inside, so if the bag gets wet, for whatever reason, the fabric touching the baby stays comfortable. Personally I am a real cotton fan, and I never wear wool (including merino) myself, but if cotton get wet, it gets cold and feels very wet. (hope this makes any sense).

the Sleep Store usually has the winter gogo bags. They often have a deal to buy a standard and a winter together, however they don't have any at the moment either - strange. Maybe email Merino Kids and the Sleep Store to see if they are getting them soon. We have a few bags, I love our gogo bag and we have some cheaper ones off www.thesleepstore.co.nz that are quicker to wash and dry if the gogo is drying etc.
I got a woolbabe one its great too. we have a gogo bag and it does go in the dryer! Sophie has just grown out of her one (NB - 2) and has moved into the toddler bag (2 - 4). Love it. Would never buy another brand.

I love our gogo bag...
- zips around the outside
- all natural fibres so I know it breathes properly and he can't really overheat
- gap so it can be used in the carseat or pram

It can't dry in the drier so can be a pain that way. But if you're getting a summer one, I'd just put the summer one on him and then tuck a blanket real tight over top for the one night the winter gogo bag is drying. I want to get a sleeping bag for Aiden for winter that will last him 2 winters. Will get a winter weight wait one cos our house is old and cold with no insulation and high stud.
But which one?!!
I dont know if I should get one that can go in the pram/ carseat or not, or if I should go for one with the zip around the edge rather than down the middle for if he tummy sleeps?
Is one enough? I figure I will get a seperate light one for summer. Is it important to get one that you can dry in the drier or do they dry quick?

What do u love or not about you childs sleeping bag?

I was looking at GoGo bags, Grobags or Woolbabe, but feel free to suggest a diff one too!
