    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="https://www.ohbaby.co.nz/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=19132">HippyMama</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 31934<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 26 February 2010 at 9:33pm<br /><br />For a few reasons I guess, metal rings are easier to slide fabric through and don't catch on the fabric as often (as nylon can degrade / damage more easily), nylon rings tend to be chunkier - and I personally wouldn't put any of my slings in the drier if I could help it - except maybe a pouch sling. <br /><br />Also each ring is weight tested to 250lb so they're super strong, I'm not sure about the nylon ones.]]>

Not sure if she has any listed at the moment (I counldn't find one) <br /><br />Advantage of nylon over metal is that they don't heat up in the drier/sun. Nylon rings are increadibly strong. <br /><br />Hippy Mama why do you have the preference?]]>

You could try and overseas vendor though.]]>
