She then had a spurt and got another 10 in almost 5 months.
She's 25 months tomorrow and has 12 - she hasn't had any new ones in 5 months.
Plunket nurse wasn't worried at all. We're yet to be called for a dental visit, but i've never been told it's anything to worry about.
I hear the "the longer they take the stronger they'll be" often. That's reassuring

Its the "well meaning" others who are making think I should be worried, and its mainly because there are no bottom teeth.

Thanks for the reply! You must add some recent pics of Rhys to the Dec 08 babies thread I bet he has grown up so much!

Is it professionals telling you it's "abnormal" or "well meaning" others?

Rhys has 8 teeth, but only has the two middle ones on the bottom and they were his first teeth at 7 months.
One of my brothers friends DD didn't have any teeth at all at 12/13 months, but they're coming through fine now.
I sure she will be fine

DD is coming up 15 months and only has her 4 top front teeth.

I am repeatedly told that it is very abnormal that she does not have any bottom teeth. To be honest I have not let it get to me until now, I am starting to wonder if I should be worried?

Anyone else have late teethers with no bottom teeth at over a year old?
