I bought one of TM when DD was 5 weeks old and I loved it!!
We ended up being accidental co-sleepers (never planned to co-sleep), but I found I had trouble sleeping as I was worried I roll on her. I slept much easier when she was in the Close & Secure sleeper, and when she woke up I could just put my hand on her to calm her, without having to get up. She slept in it until about 3 months, then transferred to her cot, but at about 5 months she came back in our bed. By that time however she was a lot bigger, and I didn't worry much anymore about rolling on her.

Sapphire - I've never co slept with two babies (well, not truly) but I would possibly suggest a bed rail for your side of the bed? That way you could sleep baby on one side between you and the rail, and your toddler in between you and your partner, or even vice versa - depends on which would be the most comfortable for you all.

Hi Hippymama, Im due for my 2nd baby in August, we already have our 22 month old in our bed and doubt he will be in any hurry to move out when the new one gets here. I co slept with him and I want to do it again but just worried as there will be 4 of us in the bed! Thought I'd check out this "close and secure sleeper" thing as it kinda has new bubs in his own space/bed but it you put it in your own bed. Any advice? Or do I just have to kick my toddler out :(

If it is anything like a bassinette it won't last long - both my DD's had outgrown it by about 4mos.

Just wondering if you've had any luck with this? How did it go?
I am looking at buying one off trademe.
I found a few reviews on the net, most recommended the item but the downfall is that is it too small and only last a couple of months or so.

Hi

We've just been given a close and secure sleeper as a gift for our baby. It's called a 'close and secure sleeper' by the first years brand.

To me it looks like a safe way for bed sharing with a baby, which tbh I hadn't been keen on doing. But it looks like it might be useful for during the day when dp is out and it's just me and bubs...

I can't really find any info online about it other than sale adverts online.

I was just wondering if anyone has one and how they've found it?
e.g was it handy to have, did they get much use out of it, good things about it, bad things about it, anything really!!
